False Kiva Trip

False Kiva

False Kiva is a human-made stone circle created by the Anasazi. While located in a naturally occurring cave,The False Kiva trail leads to a Class II archaeological site in the Island in the Sky District of Canyonlands National Park near Moab. It's protected more by its unmarked status than anything else. It is not necessarily easy to reach as it’s not on any National Park maps as a result of this status. To reach it, you have to quite a bit of exposed (but not really dangerous) scrambling along a sheer Canyonwall until you suddenly reach this magical place.
